T.C.F. Scottish Forum is moving!

Dear Friends

As many of you know if you attended the 10 th Scottish Forum in May of this year, Hugh McAninch is stepping down as chair of the organising committee. This also means that Maureen, his wife, will be changing her role within the committee. Thankfully they will both still play a major role in organising the event, but the task of planning the event for 2009 has fallen to me and a VERY supportive group of people with whom you will be familiar.

This said, we have decided to bring next year's event to a new location. There were many reasons for this decision, not the least of which is that it is more accessible to those living in the central belt. The Scottish Forum 2009 will be held in Stirling Management Centre ( http://www.smc.stir.ac.uk ), which is located in the campus of Stirling University. It is NOT student accommodation. Its name does not illustrate how perfect it is for our Gathering. The setting is beautiful, with a built in loch and acres of greenery. We will be entitled to use the fitness suite and swimming pool. The rooms are beautifully appointed and have views of the loch and surrounding beauty.

We would encourage you to take a note of the dates - 22nd , 23rd and 24th May 2009 and join with us once again or for the first time with people who understand our past.

You will receive your booking form with the December 2008 Compassion magazine.
