Invitation to bid in 50th Anniversary Charity Auction

We invite you to bid in our Charity Auction. Below is a list of the auction lots, all of which have all been generously donated to TCF. You can bid for the lots by email and those attending the 50th Anniversary Gathering will be able to view these details of the Lots at the venue. All of the winning bid amounts will be received by The Compassionate Friends (TCF) and used for our charitable purposes.

We are using a "secret bid" approach where each bidder is allowed to submit a single bid for each lot. All the bids remain "secret" until after the close of the auction when all bids are "opened" and the highest bid is determined for each lot. If there is more than one bid at the highest amount for any lot then the bid that was submitted first will be deemed to be the winner.

To place bids online - email tcfauction@btinternet.com

Please include the following information

1. The lot number

2. The amount of your bid

3. Your name and a telephone number that you can be contacted on if you are the winning bidder

At the Gathering at Horwood House there will be envelopes available for your sealed bids.

The deadline for submitting your bid via email or in person at the Gathering is 12 noon on Sunday 3rd November 2019 . After the auction has closed all bids will be opened by a Trustee and the winning bids will be determined. A list of winners will be available by 11th November 2019 but all winning bidders will be directly contacted no later than 5 pm on 8th November 2019.
