TCF holds a varied selection of books on bereavement for sale. All are written 'from the inside' and most are personal descriptions of grief journeys after the death of a son, daughter, brother or sister. Prose, poems and academic research - all are powerful testimonies of the individual search for meaning after an overwhelming tragedy.
The Compassionate Friends (TCF) is an organisation of bereaved parents and their families offering understanding, support and encouragement to others after the death of a child or children. We also offer support, advice and information to other relatives, friends and professionals who are helping the family.
TCF Retreats and Supportive Weekends
TCF hold several residential events throughout the year to give bereaved parents an opportunity to share their experiences with other bereaved parents and to benefit from a range of programmes, including workshops, discussion groups, keynote speakers and social activities. Whilst there is always a formal programme of activities that will take place during each event, it is up to the individual how much or how little they take part in.
