The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting was held on the second Sunday in December. Once again, we came together in understanding and support to remember and honour our precious children, siblings and grandchildren.

Six Things We Need

A talk given by Sangeeta Mahajan at The Compassionate Friends weekend retreat for parents bereaved by suicide or substance use/alcohol in July 2023. Based upon 4 years of research, Dr Laura Towers discussed the findings of her study which sought to explore people’s experiences of sibling bereavement. It was a fantastic evening where we learnt so much about the sibling experience of bereavement - thank you to Laura for sharing her research and to TCF Trustee, Claire, for hosting the event.
