Online Support Group for Bereaved Parents in East & West Sussex

Join us at TCF’s online peer support group for bereaved parents living in East and West Sussex. This group is open to parents bereaved 3 or more months, and up to 10 years bereaved. Our support groups are for parents bereaved of a child from the age of 1 month old to adulthood and bereaved from any cause. As we currently have no in-person support in Sussex, these monthly online sessions, facilitated by trained bereaved parent volunteers, will provide an opportunity for mutual sharing, support and connection with other parents in Sussex.

This January session is the last of the three sessions organised by TCF – we do hope you feel able to attend to receive peer support on the night but also as a way of hopefully connecting with other bereaved parents locally which will lead to an ongoing connection.

From this initial online support offered by existing TCF volunteers, our hope is that we can encourage ongoing support if two or more bereaved parents in the area come forward to volunteer to set up either an online or in-person support group, regular walks or informal meet ups for parents in East and West Sussex. All our volunteers need to be at least 4 years bereaved. Training and guidance will be provided to parents who would like to volunteer to offer either online or in person support in Sussex.
