24 June 2024, 11.00
BOOK FOR THIS WALK
Bereaved parent and TCF volunteer, Peter, invites you to join him on his next walk on Monday 24 June, starting at 11 am, at the National Trust location of Sheringham Park in North Norfolk.
There are toilets and a café available at the car park but please note there is a charge of £6.50 for parking for non NT members. More details about the Park can be found on the website here
The walk will consist of around 4 miles taking in the wonderful display of rhododendrons, woodlands and sweeping vistas overlooking Weybourne and the sea.
Please bring refreshments - drink and snack - for the walk and we plan to also make a stop at the café on our return.
Buses to the Park are available between Cromer and Holt. More details in the Getting Here section of the Park website.
***
We are sorry but if you are less than 3 months bereaved, we ask that you wait until you are 3 months or more bereaved before accessing our support walks – new walk dates are added on a regular basis here. We hope to welcome you at a future walk.
We look forward to meeting those who have walked with us before, and also welcoming those who are new to our walks.
If you haven’t yet walked with us, please don’t feel daunted or apprehensive about joining. You will very quickly find yourself in a friendly, supportive community of others who are similarly bereaved.
**We will be sending out a welcome email about a week before the walk to give you more information and meeting point details. This email comes from Barbara and Philip so please look out for it (please also be aware that it can sometimes go into junk or spam folders, so do check there if you have registered for the walk and haven't received details).
Please note that if you bring along a friend or relative with you for initial support, they will be€¯unable to join us for the walk itself unless they are also a bereaved parent, grandparent or adult bereaved sibling.
To register for the walk, or to express an interest, please click ’book for this walk’.
