The Bereaved Parent and Their Faith
One of a series of leaflets published by The Compassionate Friends Going forward For some of us, our faith not only strengthens us day to day, but also helps us to reach a reconciliation with our child’s death. However, this is not true for everyone. There are some questions that we may never have the answers to, including why God allowed our child to die. Holding onto our faith without knowing ‘all of the answers’ might be within our grasp or it might not. Ultimately, in regards to our personal faith, we must be true to ourselves, just as we will stay true to our child’s memory, forever holding them in love.
