Bereavement and your health

UK Helpline: 0 345 123 23 0 4 | www.tcf.org.uk Accepting help Many parents who have been bereaved of a child find that they need support in their grief. Accepting help from both peer support groups (other bereaved people) and professionals can be an important part of self-care. At The Compassionate Friends , we offer informal peer support. We run a helpline, support groups both online and in person, and we organise walks, support days and weekends. We know that there is no easy path through the pain, and we do not offer simple solutions. What we do offer is continuing understanding, comfort, friendship, encouragement and hope. (Contact details are on the back page.)
