The sadness as it is. 7 years on and still consumed by an overwhelming sadness. I guess that will always be the case. It was Halloween yesterday and now fireworks night and then Christmas and New Year. It’s relentless. “Did you enjoy Halloween mum?” Well actually I did yes but not because I dressed up and did what other people did. Because I allowed myself to be distracted. “Oh?” Yes, I went to the theatre and saw a play. Blithe Spirit. About… …. a ghost Yes James, about a ghost. It was funny and I laughed and had a good evening and I begun the silly season ….. “In good spirits!!!!!” Yes James, in good spirits. “Do you see what I did there?” Yes James. “Did you laugh”
