Newsletter for Childless Parents | www.tcf.org.uk 5 Life Life, you are so very cruel, Of us, you like to make a fool, You laughed in the face, of the plans we were making, You have no care, that our hearts are left breaking. We wonder why some have so much to bear, While others continue, without a care, We'll never know why this should be, It is an age-old mystery. No, we will never make sense of you, You're just 'Life', it's what you do. You've wounded us, to the depths of our soul, From our children and us, the future you stole. It's so hard to go on, when we feel so bad, With the greatest sorrow, we've ever had. At first, we may feel singled out, I know I did, without a doubt, But, then, when I saw all of you, I knew, it simply wasn't true. And, in spite of our adversity, We're making a stand for humanity, By helping each other, with this heavy load, As we travel along 'Life’s', uneven road. Dedicated to my precious son, Martin.
