Childless Parents Newsletter, Winter 2020

Newsletter for Childless Parents | www.tcf.org.uk 6 Thinking of all our precious children as we remember them with love. ERIKA 17YRS THIS YEAR I loved you like there was no tomorrow & I’m going to send my love for you up to Heaven. Remember in a land long ago, where the sea meets the sky, we are still together, we were too close to separate one from the other. But I will never ever get over losing you.. MISSING YOU ALWAYS ALL MY LOVE MOM XXXX Thank you John Robertson for sharing this memory of Katherine Katherine and I were both great Bob Dylan fans and I heard a new song recently and one verse in particular struck a chord with me. References to Paris which was one of our most wonderful trips and to the bottom of the world for after Katherine’s death I lost my way and that is where I went. Also how I will never find true understanding from anyone except here amongst my own kind. Lastly my years are getting to be quite a big number now so I know that the long dark is not to far away. Well I’ve been to London and gay Paris I’ve followed the river and I got to the sea I’ve been down on the bottom of the world full of lies I aint looking for nothing in anyones eyes Sometimes my burden is so hard to bear It’s not dark yet but it’s getting there. Memories of Our Children I asked for some words from people about happy memories, or connections they shared with their children. I would love to hear more if you would like to share them.
