Autumn 2022 - Compassion | www.tcf.org.uk 20 What will matter This has resonated with me, as I feel the words are so true, we often feel that our son gets forgotten as people don’t mention him much, but after talking to people who knew him it is very much about :- "What will matter is not your memories but the memories of those who loved you. What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom, and for what.” He lives on with everyone who knew him, and it’s been reassuring that he lived a life that mattered.
