Remembering Elizabeth Rachel Rose shared by Sandra Thorpe Remembering Elizabeth Rachel Rose who died suddenly aged just 5 months. She would have been aged 30 on 29th October. A pink paper heart with Elizabeth's name one side and the following words on the other were placed on every seat at her thanksgiving service. "The smallest star shines the brightest and pierces the darkness". Every Christmas we place a silver foil star-shaped balloon at the top of our Christmas tree. Arthur’s first birthday would be 15th April 2024. We miss you every day, Arthur. Sending you so much love on your birthday and always. Mummy and Daddy xxx Ten years on June 25th 2024 since you left us, ten years since we’ve spoken, ten tears since we’ve laughed, ten years since we’ve hugged. In April 2014 we celebrated your 40th birthday with a massive party, 7 weeks later you were gone. This year on April 30th it will be your 50th birthday; we will have a celebration and remember you with all our love (you will be a grandma for the first time by then). It’s a long lonely road we are all treading now, missing you so much Nic and wishing with all our hearts you were here with us. You will be forever in our hearts and, until we meet again, we will try our best to ‘live in the light of your life, not the darkness of your death’. Love you forever and I will always carry your heart in my heart, Mum xxx
