36 tcf.org.uk TCF NEWS | FUNDRAISING ROUND-UP A warm thank you to all our fundraisers and donors - large and small. Fundraising Round-up Kirsty has set herself 10 challenges to complete in memory of Jamie. She has raised £678 for TCF by whitewater rafting, firewalking, abseiling, getting her first tattoo, creature handling and completing a 15-mile Kilt Walk, an inflatable assault course, an aerial assault course and the Loony Dook (diving into the freezing winter waters of Queensferry in fancy dress!). This autumn she will run the Loch Ness marathon to finish her challenges. Well done Kirsty! Jude and Brian flew to Queenstown, New Zealand to climb Ben Lomond in memory of Jude’s son, Jody. They wore t-shirts with the names of 40 people who died from Motor Neurone Disease on their hike and raised £1,650. Inspiring individuals Community spirit in southwest London In memory of Jefferson, two events were held recently in Southwest London. Deborah raised £430 by running a raffle at Clapham Makers’ Christmas Market and Jojo organised a reggae, ska and rock gig in Balham. Fundraising staff, Stephen and Annabelle, and TCF trustee, Alison, got the chance to raise awareness of our work at the gig, which raised £1,900 in total. Thank you to everyone who entered the raffle and attended the gig for all your support.
