35 tcf.org.uk Lauren Thomson and Helen Marsden completed the Southampton Half marathon in memory of Dylan Rocha and raised £1120. They were also the first people to wear our newly branded tshirts. Thanks for highlighting The Compassionate Friends and raising these incredible funds. Helen says she mainly enjoyed it, but will stick to 10ks from now on! A huge thank you to our London marathon runners, Alex, Seth and Tristan, who despite rain and blisters ran 26 miles in memory of brothers, Oliver and Tristan and cousin, Tom respectively. Nearly £6,000 has been raised for which we can’t thank you enough! We are so proud of you all. FUNDRAISING ROUND-UP Laura Dove is running the Norwich 10k in July in memory of her daughter, Beth. To date she has raised over £1000. Adi, Simon & Dean are the Three Old Codgers who walked 100k of the Jurassic Coastin May. They've raised nearly £2,000. TCF's Suicide Bereavement Group in Glasgow took part in the Walk of Hope on 6th May and raised over £2,500. Newlands Lawn Tennis Club in Glasgow raised over £400 for TCF from the tombola at the club's Coronation Celebration in May. Before the end of June, if you shop at Tesco stores in Solihull, around Wembley and in the south of Edinburgh, please put your token in TCF's box to help us get a share of the funds. Thank you to Sarah West, Anna and Chris Read and friends for taking part and/or donating to the 5k run this year in memory of Michael Read. £545 was raised for TCF – which is just wonderful. Incredibly, the Read family are doing a year of fundraising for TCF and their next two events are the Yorkshire 3 Peaks and Swimming the Serpentine!
