37 tcf.org.uk After many journeys as a passenger with Gina, I learned that it was going to be a thrilling ride, but we always arrived safe and sound. I gave her the nickname Penelope Pitstop! Gina started helping me with my TCF group in Marlow. Of course, everyone loved her. She had the wisdom that comes from having survived many years after the tragic loss of two of her children, Nicky and Robin. And she was so very generous in sharing some of that wisdom with us. And that wisdom has given us hope. Hope that we can slowly rebuild our lives, carrying the love for our children with us always. So, thank you Gina. Thank you for everything you have given to TCF. For your words that helped me and many others through our early grief, for your wonderful friendship, for your determination, your sense of humour, your kindness and your love for your children which was the underlying force behind everything you did. Your presence within TCF will live on through your amazing writings and I’m sure you will continue to help many many more bereaved parents in this way. I have been so lucky to have you as a friend, and I will miss you enormously.
