Spring 2021 - TCF Newsletter | www.tcf.org.uk 7 Ninth online meeting for TCF volunteers In February the ninth online meeting for TCF volunteers was held for grief companions, local and group support contacts. Our guest speaker this time was Belina Rauli from RoadPeace who told us more about the campaigning and support work this vital charity does for victims of incidents and deaths on the road. Our volunteer meetings are also an important opportunity to hear from our volunteers, to share feedback, best practice, ideas and suggestions. Occasional online support groups We are continuing to grow the range and number of our specialist support groups. Each month a range of groups are being held via Zoom, all facilitated by trained, bereaved parent volunteers or siblings. They are offering safe, compassionate places to share and find understanding and hope. New in 2021 include groups for bereaved lone parents and for parents whose child has died abroad. To find out more and to book go to www.tcf.org.uk/onlineevents We have just redesigned and updated the leaflets in our bereavement support information packs sent to every new parent, sibling or grandparent contacting us via our Helpline, through our online support, or via our local volunteers. New YouTube channel launched You can view, watch and listen again to our autumn series of talks, the beautiful candle lighting event last month, our short film, Say Their Name, and much more on the channel.
