When: Monday 4 July 2022, 7 – 8pm Where: ONLINE via Zoom Register to attend this online event at tcf.org.uk/siblingexperiences Based upon 4 years of research, Dr Laura Towers will be discussing the findings of her study which sought to explore people’s experiences of sibling bereavement. Though everyone’s account is different, owing to the uniqueness of personal relationships, Laura will be exploring some of the common themes that were raised by participants. This event is open to everyone. Laura Towers is a Research Fellow in the Department of Sociological Studies at the University of Sheffield. She is also a bereaved sibling, following the death of her older brother, Sean, when she was 18. The evening will be hosted by Trustee of The Compassionate Friends, Claire Coveney. Life After Death: Experiences of Sibling Bereavement over the Life Course “I didn’t know what to expect as this was my first retreat. I’m so moved by the amount of love and compassion.
