Winter 2022 - TCF Newsletter | www.tcf.org.uk 7 Jumping for Karly Milana and Graeme completed an amazingly brave bungee jump and raised £660 for The Compassionate Friends. Here they are wearing their T-shirts with pride. Thank you both for choosing our charity and congratulations on your incredible achievement. Hair today, gone tomorrow! A massive thank you to Jane Pentling for running a fundraiser for us at Christchurch Fire Station. There were tombola prizes aplenty, but the highlight was the shearing of the beautiful locks of Watch Manager Dave Smith and Firefighter Roger Hoyle. Thank you so much to everyone who supported us and raised £1222. Get your cycling shorts on! If you love to cycle we have places on Ride London 2023. We had 4 cyclists take part in 2022 and they loved it so much they're doing it again! This iconic 100 mile race takes place through central London and the Essex countryside on 28th May 2023. There is no fee to register but we would ask you to raise in the region of £350 - £400 in fundraising. Contact jenny@tcf.org.uk for more details.
