Welcome and thank you to our new patrons We are excited to announce that Danielle Nicholls, TV presenter/broadcaster, and Dean Holden, professional football coach and manager are joining The Compassionate Friends as patrons. Danielle and Dean have 5 children and are bereaved parents of Cici who died at 17 months in 2012. Having attended their local support group they describe The Compassionate Friends as the charity that saved them in the early days of Cici’s death from meningitis. They are committed to raising the profile of our charity and ensuring that bereaved parents know how to get help. Carolyn Brice, CEO said “I am delighted to have Danielle and Dean on board.
