Following the judge’s visit in September, the garden achieved the highest award possible – Level 5, Outstanding! John Summers, CEO of Beautiful Perth, commented “This is really a great result and testament to all the hard work over many years by supporters and volunteers of Beautiful Perth. including our partnership with the Compassionate Friends” . The garden was unveiled at the Scottish Gathering in May 2018 and has gone from strength to strength, cared for and tended by the wonderful volunteers at Rodney Gardens. A huge thank you to Hugh McAninch who worked closely with Beautiful Perth to make this special memorial garden a reality.
