Volunteers Meeting at TCF Annual General Meeting

5 November 2016, 10.30 – 17.00

Our Patron, Michael Rosen, will be our guest speaker at The Compassionate Friends’ AGM during the afternoon of 5^th November (from approx. 2.30 pm). The morning (from 10.30 am) will be devoted to networking, information and training for our volunteers. We will be planning a short morning programme of speakers, workshops and discussion groups to help and support you in your roles with our charity. If there is a topic or specific training/information item you would like us to cover please let us know as soon as possible. Lunch will be provided, and also tea and cakes after the AGM. The whole day will therefore run from 10.30 am – approximately 5 pm.

TCF are able to reimburse your travel costs to attend (please book early if you can to take advantage of saver fares), and also to try and find you accommodation – either with other TCF volunteers/members for the Friday evening (4^th November) or in a budget hotel. So, a request - if you live in, or within easy distance of London, and can provide a bed for a volunteer for the night of 4^th November please let us in the National Office know so that we can match up those coming from further afield with available beds/rooms.
