FIND OUT IF THERE IS A PUBLIC EVENT NEAR YOU
(Please check back as we are adding events all the time)
Are you planning a Candle Lighting and/or Remembrance event in 2018 or early 2019? If so, please submit details HERE and we will include your event in the listings link below.
2018 Book of Remembrance
From 1st December 2018, and throughout December, you can post a message of remembrance for your son or daughter, brother or sister, or grandchild. You can also include a photograph with your message if you wish.
Post your photo and remembrance message here.
If you don't upload a photograph a picture of a tealight will accompany your message.
This worldwide event unites family and friends around the globe in lighting candles for one hour to honour the memories of the sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and grandchildren who left too soon. As candles are lit at 7 p.m. local time, hundreds of formal candle lighting events and thousands of informal candle lightings are held in quiet remembrance and to honour the memory of all children who have died but will never be forgotten.
If there is no organised event near you do join us on Sunday 9 December, 7 pm at home, with family/friends, or with a group of other bereaved parents or families, to light a candle for your beloved child or sibling - creating a continuous wave of light around the world as it moves from time zone to time zone.
