Richmond Park, Richmond
The "Richmond Circular Walk" will take us along the river Thames and into Richmond Park, including the Isabella Plantation with its wonderful blooms and magnificent colours. We will take in some fabulous and famous "protected" views over the park and if we're lucky, we may even spot some deer.....No guarantees obviously, but fingers crossed.
There will be commentary on the places of interest that we pass along the way.
We will walk at an easy pace for approximately 5 or 6 miles mainly on paths and park land; firm surfaces, so no mud.
Comfortable footwear is advised.
There will be a lunch stop at a cafe, (or you can bring a packed lunch if you prefer), and there will be the option of a drink in a pub after the walk.
Meet outside Richmond Station at 11 am.
The walk will finish at approximately 15.30 back at the station.
Richmond has excellent transport links including a fast train which is only 16 mins from London Waterloo.
