Wisdom Centre, Romsey
A supportive day for bereaved parents.
In the beautiful, tranquil venue in Romsey, Hampshire this special day - entitled 'Ripples of Hope' - has been planned so that bereaved parents can join together and share precious memories of our child or children. Together we will find understanding and friendship as we find ways to somehow cope with the loss of our child or children.
The day will be very relaxed and you can participate as much or as little as you wish. There will be a short talk about managing our grief followed by group discussions. After lunch we can walk in the peaceful grounds or perhaps listen to inspiring speakers (to be confirmed). Then in the remaining time you could choose to spend time on craft activities or participate in further small group discussions.
The venue for the day is the Wisdom Centre. The Centre is accessible for all - with a lift available. There is limited parking at the Centre (just 15 spaces) but there are car parks very close by (a map will be forwarded to you). Romsey train station is just a 10 minute walk from the venue, and we can provide lifts from station by request.
The cost for the day is £35.00. This includes:
* tea and coffee on arrival
* coffee and biscuits mid morning
* lunch -salad buffet, cheese and biscuits and desert. Tea/coffee
* Afternoon tea and cakes
(Some financial support is available for any bereaved parent who needs financial assistance to attend - please contact Joy for more info).
