London Walk - Greenwich

29 June 2019, 11.00
The third in The Compassionate Friends walks for bereaved parents will be on Saturday 29th June in Greenwich.
This lovely part of London is very green and full of history. We will visit major landmarks such as the Cutty Sark and the Royal Observatory and we will stop for lunch at the National Maritime Museum. We will walk in Greenwich Park and take in wonderful views of the Thames while also exploring lesser known parts of the town.
We will meet at 11 am at London Bridge Station at our usual place on the Upper Concourse Meeting Point opposite platforms 11-12 and by the M & S food hall.
From there we will catch the 11.18 train to Greenwich Station arriving at 11.27, a short hop of 9 minutes. The service runs every 10 minutes or so so it will be easy to travel there and back.
If you prefer to join us at Greenwich that’s fine but please note we will be arriving at Greenwich Station not Greenwich Maritime or Greenwich North Stations.
There will be the option of a drink at a traditional pub after the walk as usual for those who want to stay.
There is no need to book in advance, just turn up on the day. We look forward to seeing you all there.
