London Walk - The East End

London Walk - The East End

3 August 2019, 11.00

The fourth in the series of Compassionate Friends walks for bereaved parents will be on Saturday 3rd August.

For this walk we are heading to the East End of London. We will explore this culturally diverse part of town and its unique urban chic atmosphere and interesting street art as we visit Brick Lane, Spitalfields, Whitechapel and Petticoat Lane.

We will also take in the last residence of Joseph Merrick , known as “the Elephant Man” and The Bell Foundry where The Liberty Bell and Big Ben were cast.

There will be lunch stop at a cafe along the route and then after the walk, a well earned drink at a traditional pub for those who want to stay.

We will meet at 11 am at Liverpool Street Railway Station at Platform Level outside the Nero Express opposite Platforms 15 and 16.

Save the date and we look forward to seeing you then.

Call or text Terry Ahern on 07753832929 if you’re running late.
