Truro Cathedral, Truro
Those who have been affected by suicide are invited to drop in for a moment of quiet reflection or to light a candle in memory of someone who has died.
It is not possible this year, due to Covid-19, to hold the annual service for people affected by suicide. Instead, the Suicide Liaison Service has been invited to provide an opportunity at Truro Cathedral on World Suicide Prevention Day to invite those who are impacted by suicide to visit for a quiet moment of reflection, light a candle, or talk with a member of Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s Chaplaincy Team, or the Suicide Liaison Service, or a cathedral Chaplain – all who will be available at times throughout the day. We very much look forward to seeing you on the 10th.
All are welcome, of all faiths or none. If you are not able to visit the cathedral, you can light a virtual candle in remembrance by clicking the ‘Light a Virtual Candle’ link on the homepage of the cathedral’s website: www.trurocathedral.org.uk
