London Walk Passport to Pimlico... & Chelsea

19 June 2021, 11.00

Meeting at Victoria Station

This walk is now fully booked. Places do become available so if you would like to go on the waiting list please email info@tcf.org.uk. Thank you.

This will be the second in our series of London TCF walks this spring and summer - all bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents are warmly welcome to join us on Saturday 19 June. Meet at 11 am.

Our next TCF walk will explore the quieter streets and squares of these elegant areas of our capital city.

Some places are like villages and you may feel as though you have stepped back in time to a different era. Some streets are lined with impressive mansions of architectural interest.

Our walk will take us across the Thames where we will stop for lunch in Battersea Park. There are cafes and toilet facilities which we can use and benches for those preferring a picnic.

The walk is approximately 5 miles long, finishing at Gloucester Road underground station where you will have the option to begin your journey home, or stay for an after walk drink.

We will meet on Saturday 19 June on the main concourse of Victoria station near the foot of the escalator which leads to the Wetherspoon’s pub.

Terry will be there from 10.45 am. Please ensure you arrive in time for an 11 a.m. departure. We are anticipating a large group and we have a lot to see so we need to leave on time.

Please also note that we will be walking at a moderate pace and the walk is not suitable if you cannot walk unaided. As we wind our way through the streets, it is important for everyone’s safety and enjoyment that we stay together as a group.

Due to COVID guidelines, there are 30 places on the walk available to bereaved parents, siblings & grandparents. Please note that we are asking you to book for the walk, but if you need to cancel your place please let us know at info@tcf.org.uk so we can offer your place to another walker (if we have a waiting list). When you book please give us the name of each person coming on the walk or book for each person separately (for COVID guidelines). Many thanks.

The walks are free and are designed to offer you an opportunity to socialise and chat to other bereaved parents and siblings as well as to offer some exercise to support our mental and physical wellbeing. However, you can if you wish give a voluntary donation at the time you book or at www.tcf.org.uk/donate.
