Business Suite, London

The BEAD project is a partnership between Cruse Bereavement Care and Adfam, providing practical and emotional support and information specifically for anyone bereaved through a loved one’s drug or alcohol use. Cruse is the UK’s leading bereavement charity and Adfam is a national charity working to improve support for families affected by drug or alcohol use.

The drop-in session is for potential clients to find out more about the project and the benefits of peer support and speak to volunteers and past clients. This session will have a particular focus on the peer support groups that we run in Central London. These closed groups are free to attend and deliver emotional and practical support to adults that have been bereaved in this way, and are conducted in an intimate and effective setting. The drop-in session will give potential clients the chance to find out more about the group and talk with the group’s co-facilitators and previous participants. People are welcome to come and go as they please. Hot drinks and light snacks will be made available.

If the BEAD project sounds like something you would find helpful in coping with your bereavement, we would be really keen to meet you at the drop-in and tell you more about the support we offer.

To find out more and to sign up please contact R.Stebbings@adfam.org.uk or 020 3817 9410.
