URBAN LANDMARK WALK FOR BEREAVED PARENTS, ADULT SIBLINGS AND GRANDPARENTS
Join Terry for the second TCF London walk for this year which will be held on Saturday 28 May.
In contrast to the first walk, this route will be mainly urban. We will see several of the Capital’s most famous landmarks including The London Eye & Houses of Parliament. We will also visit less well known places such as, Lower Marsh & Spray Can Alley then head for Vauxhall to find more, including an urban farm where we’ll stop for lunch before searching for a ‘hidden’ village. The Farm is near a park with benches for those wishing to bring their own lunch.
As always, there will be some commentary on the interesting places we will see.
We will meet at 11am underneath the large suspended clock on the main concourse of Waterloo Railway Station.
Our walk will be for approximately 5 miles in total at a steady pace. Please note that this walk is not suitable for those who require walking aids or who might find the pace too demanding.
The walks are free and are designed to offer you an opportunity to socialise and chat to other bereaved parents and siblings as well as to offer some exercise to support our mental and physical wellbeing. However, you can if you wish give a voluntary donation at the time you book or at www.tcf.org.uk/donate.
DISCLAIMER: Please note that the details of this walk may be subject to change.
