Autumn Colours in The Capital
15 October 2022, 11.00 – 16.00
THIS WALK IS NOW FULL. PLEASE CONTACT info@tcf.org.uk for booking details or any cancellations.
The next in our series of London walks with bereaved dad and walk leader, Terry, is Autumn Colours in The Capital, on Saturday 15 October.
We will be meeting at 11am at St Pancras Station on the upper level near the huge statue of a couple embracing.
On this walk, we will take a closer look at the amazing developments behind Kings Cross, namely Granary Square, Coal Drop Yard & Gasholder Park.
Then we follow the Regent’s Canal through Camden Lock & Market to Primrose Hill which boasts one of the finest views of London.
Lunch will be at Primrose Hill Village with a great choice of cafes, restaurants, delis & pubs. For those preferring a picnic, the park is close by.
The afternoon will be spent in Regents Park, where we hope the stunning colours of Autumn will be on show in its many varieties of trees, formal gardens and lakes.
Please note this reasonably paced walk is not suitable for any individuals who cannot walk unaided.
There will be the option of refreshment at a pub after the walk.
The walk should finish by 3.30/4.00 pm.
If you haven’t walked with us before, please don’t feel daunted or apprehensive about joining on your own. You will very quickly find yourself in a friendly, supportive community of other bereaved parents and siblings.
