Fundraising cycling team

A group of intrepid parents raised funds for TCF by cycling the 278 miles on challenging river and canal paths from Bristol to Liverpool.
Sue Faulkner, who organised the challenge, wrote "we chose this week for the event, as it would be our son George's 25th birthday on 24th May. George was 17 when he was involved in a fatal road collision in 2008. We will be cycling in memory of all our children, gone too soon".
Shelagh and Noel have also set up a Facebook page and made a video explaining the challenge ahead and why they have taken it on.
28th May 2016 - They did it!!
Congratulations and well done to all the team cycling from Bristol to Liverpool. They made it back to Liverpool after their amazing challenge. Thank you for all you have done to raise awareness of The Compassionate Friends and for fundraising for our charity - over £9000 raised...an amazing job! A well deserved rest for you all we hope, after all your adventures!
