Bradgate Park Walk

Bereaved parents and local support group facilitators, Lorna and Pat, warmly invite you to join them for an informal, supportive walk around Bradgate Park on Saturday 10th December 2022, meeting at 10.30 am for a 10.45 am start.

Lorna and Pat write:

The walk will be along a tarmac path at a comfortable pace for conversation. The walk will take us to the end of the park then back again to the car park, estimated 3 to 4 miles. There is a cafe for tea/coffee/snacks if you wish, and there are toilets at the car park entrance and in the park.

For those who want to, there are grassy banks to climb up to interesting features to explore. Sturdy footwear would be highly recommended for those who wanted to do this.

There are deer in the park so dogs MUST be kept on a lead.

The car park uses car registration plate recognition. Payment by card or cash can be made at the payment stations before leaving or by card at the exit barrier, costing £3 for up to three hours and £4.50 for over three hours.

If you haven’t yet walked with us, please don’t feel daunted or apprehensive about joining. You will very quickly find yourself in a friendly, supportive community of other bereaved parents.
