I am delighted to invite you to our Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving, to be held in St Albans Cathedral on Sunday 7 May 2017. The service starts at 3.00 pm and will be followed by a symbolic release of doves outside the West Doors of the Cathedral at 4.15 pm.
The service is suitable for bereaved children. The Abbey Girls Choir will be taking part in the service and the address will be given by the Very Reverend Jeffrey John, Dean of St Albans. This will also be an opportunity to mark fifteen years of work by Bereavement Matters: the St Albans and District Bereavement Network to support those who have lost loved ones.
This is a non-ticketed event – just turn up on the day. I can assure you of a warm and personal welcome.
