Virginia Water Walk

Virginia Water

TCF volunteers and bereaved parents, Sue H and Sue W, are leading a TCF walk followed by a pub lunch at Virginia Water, Windsor Great Park, Surrey, on Sunday September 3rd, meeting at 10.30 am for a coffee before an 11 am start.

This will be a 3 mile walk around Virginia Water lakes, taking in a couple of small hills with views, and enjoying a mix of flower gardens and woodland. There are toilets and an outdoor cafe stall halfway round. We aim to return for a pub lunch at 1.30 pm.

Bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings welcome. Well behaved dogs also welcome.

We look forward to meeting those who have walked with us before, and also welcoming those who are new to our walks. If you haven’t yet walked with us, please don’t feel daunted or apprehensive about joining. You will very quickly find yourself in a friendly, supportive community of others who are similarly bereaved.

We will be sending out a welcome email about a week before the walk to give you more information and meeting point details. Please note that if you bring along a friend or relative with you for initial support, they will be unable to join us for the walk itself unless they are also a bereaved parent, grandparent or adult bereaved sibling.
