This event is now FULLY BOOKED. Please email info@tcf.org.uk if you would like to go on our waiting list.
A one-day overnight retreat for brothers and sisters aged 18+ fully funded by National Lottery Awards for All.
Join us for a supportive weekend from lunchtime Saturday 21 April until after lunch Sunday 22 April 2018 for adult siblings (priority will be given to bereaved siblings in their 20s, 30s & 40s).
This will be a unique opportunity to meet in a safe place and share with others who have experienced the loss of a sibling early in life. In a relaxed and comfortable environment, with a lakeside setting, you can find support and understanding, strategies to cope with life after loss, and build resilience for the future.
Thanks to Big Lottery funding this event is completely FREE but places are strictly limited to 25.
If you take a fully funded place please let us know if you are unable to attend as we are expecting a lot of interest in this event and there is a waiting list.
N.B. Please note that although held at Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre, this is NOT a religious event.
Please also note that Woodbrooke is an alcohol-free building. Alcohol is not permitted in any of the public areas (although there will be an opportunity to visit a local pub on Saturday evening for those who wish). Smoking is permitted in the allocated smoking area in the grounds.
If you would like to make a donation toward the weekend and our work with bereaved families please use this link www.tcf.org.uk/donate or add a bursary fund donation when you book.
