TCF Big Quiz
15 February 2024, 19.00 – 21.15
ONLINE via Zoom
Back by popular demand! Bring together your family, friends and colleagues to play our fun online quiz...with quizmaster extraordinaire, Stephen. AND help us to raise vital funds to support our support and services for bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents.
SIGN UP FOR THE QUIZ HERE
Entry to the quiz is £25 per team but please consider making an additional donation too if you can. The fundraising environment is tough for charities at the moment so any donation, small or large, will make a huge difference to the support we can offer to grieving parents and their families. Currently we are seeking funding for our Helpline:
"The grief of losing a child is so maddening, so desperate and so raw that like many people, I often did not want to share it with those closest to me, especially family who were grieving themselves. This is why the TCF helpline is so important".
A donation of:
• £10 covers the costs of printing and posting of 2 bereavement support packs to bereaved families
• £25 meets a quarter of the costs of initial training for a new helpline volunteer.
• £50 will pay for half of the ongoing support and training to one bereaved parent volunteer on the helpline.
Quiz rounds will include:
* Geography * Science and Nature * Entertainment * Sport * History * Sounds and Pictures
Decide your TEAM NAME and the round (based on above) on which you will play your JOKER (for double points!) and email to Stephen at stephen@tcf.org.uk as soon as possible and before the quiz starts.
Taking part in the quiz is easy! JUST SIGN UP HERE We will then email you by 13 February 2024 with more details to access the quiz night on the 15 February.
Look forward to seeing you there! And, thank you so much for your support.
