BOOK FOR THIS WALK

TCF volunteers, and bereaved parents, Sue H and Sue W are leading a walk at Virginia Water/Windsor Great Park, Surrey, on Saturday 29 June.  

We will be meeting before the walk for a coffee from 10.30 am in a hotel/pub at the start in Virginia Water**. There is free parking at this venue if you let them know your car registration number. The walk will start at 11.15 am. 

We will walk about 3 miles through Windsor Great Park.  There will be a couple of small hills with views. There are toilets and an outdoor café stall halfway round. We should be back at the starting place at Virginia Water at around 2 pm where we can have refreshments and/or lunch (optional).

Bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings (18 years +) welcome. Well behaved dogs also welcome.

We are sorry but if you are less than 3 months bereaved, we ask that you wait until you are 3 months or more bereaved before accessing our support walks – new walk dates are added on a regular basis here. We hope to welcome you at a future walk.

We look forward to meeting those who have walked with us before, and also welcoming those who are new to our walks. 

If you haven’t yet walked with us, please don’t feel daunted or apprehensive about joining. You will very quickly find yourself in a friendly, supportive community of others who are similarly bereaved.

**We will be sending out a welcome email about a week before the walk to give you more information and meeting point details. This email comes from either from the volunteer walk facilitators or from info@tcf.org.uk so please look out for it (please also be aware that it can sometimes go into junk or spam folders, so do check there if you have registered for the walk and haven't received details within 4/5 days of the walk).

Please note that if you bring along a friend or relative with you for initial support, they will be¯unable to join us for the walk itself unless they are also a bereaved parent, grandparent or adult bereaved sibling.
