Bereaved parent and TCF volunteer, Peter will be running this walk for TCF and it will begin at 11 am. Bereaved parents, adult siblings and grandparents are warmly welcome.
The walk is 4 miles in length and includes village and field paths as well as a wander on the Norfolk Wildlife Trust boardwalks in the Ranworth . Here it is possible to see and hear many bird species including kingfishers.
There will also be an opportunity for an accompanied climb to the top of Ranworth St Helen’s Church Tower which offers magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.
Parking is available near the venue.
Toilets are available at Ranworth Staithe and after the walk when we will enjoy refreshments at the local tea rooms.
As always a good idea to bring a drink and snack for the walk as we usually have a break at the halfway point.
***
We ask please that you wait until you are at least 3 months or more bereaved before accessing our support walks – new walk dates are added on a regular basis here. We very much hope to welcome you at a future walk.
We look forward to meeting those who have walked with us before, and also welcoming those who are new to our walks.
If you haven’t yet walked with us, please don’t feel daunted or apprehensive about joining. You will very quickly find yourself in a friendly, supportive community of others who are similarly bereaved.
***We will be sending out a welcome email about a week before the walk to give you more information and meeting point details.
Please note that if you bring along a friend or relative with you for initial support, they will not be able to join us for the walk itself unless they are also a bereaved parent, grandparent or adult bereaved sibling.
