DrugFAM annual Bereaved by Addiction Conference is on Saturday 14th October 2017.
They look forward to welcoming back those of you who have attended previous conferences and for first-time attendees please be assured that they endeavour to provide a warm and supportive atmosphere in which to share your experiences.
DrugFAM have been running their annual Bereaved by Addiction Conference since 2009. It is a unique event that allows those that have been bereaved in this way to come together and share their experiences with others who understand what they are going through. This safe environment allows people to open up without the fear of being judged or experiencing the stigma that is so prevalent with this type of death in society as a whole.
This year there will be keynote speakers, including Dr John Kelly who’s presentation is title “Pathways to Recovery and Changing the ‘Language’ of Addiction” and Peter Cartwright who will be discussing “Does Support Help?”.
