NEW: Online Support Group for Bereaved Parents Living in Wales

Join us at TCF’s NEW online peer support group for bereaved parents living in Wales. This group is open to parents bereaved 3 or more months.  Our support groups are for parents bereaved of a child from the age of 1 month old to adulthood and bereaved from any cause.  As we currently have only two in person support groups in Wales, these monthly online sessions, facilitated by trained bereaved parent volunteers, will provide an additional opportunity for mutual sharing, support and connection with other parents in Wales.

We will offer this online support over a three-month trial period.  From this initial online support offered by existing TCF volunteers, our hope is that we can encourage ongoing support if two or more bereaved parents in the area come forward to volunteer to set up either an online or in-person support group, regular walks or informal meet ups for parents in Wales. Please note that all our volunteers need to be at least 4 years bereaved. Training and guidance will be provided to parents who would like to volunteer to offer either online or in person support in Wales.

Please note our existing Welsh groups are located in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan and Newtown, Powys. We also offer regular walks for bereaved parents, adult siblings and grandparents in and around Oswestry and the wider area. – for further details, please email helpline@tcf.org.uk.
