I lost my beautiful son James 24th September 2021, every day is the same, James never leaves me, but I have found peace in my allotment, it is one place I can shut off from the pain, I listen to the birds and sit for a while, my cat Ziggy joins me while I am weeding, she loves to roll on the plants which doesn't help.

I also have a Grief Companion, we talk every week she is wonderful, she lost a son many years ago , so understands how I feel . I am going to join a singing group, and see how it goes. And last but not least my dog Willow has been my saving grace, she gets me out and knows when I am sad she comes up and licks me. Thank you TCF for being there and all the wonderful support you have given me, I just have to pick up the phone and there is a friendly voice. - Linda
