Result of Election to the Board of Trustees of The Compassionate Friends
One nomination for election to the Board of Trustees was received by the closing date of 15 January 2016. This was for Sue Hughes, our splendid and extremely hard-working Vice-Chair.
As there were five Board vacancies which could potentially have been filled, Sue has therefore been re-elected unopposed for a further three years. She has also been elected Vice-Chair for a further year.
There will be another Trustee election later in 2016, so anyone who felt unsure about putting their names forward this time will have another opportunity to do so in the early autumn.
