Fundraising concert a huge success
What a fabulous concert at the Cadogan Hall last Sunday to raise funds for The Compassionate Friends.
Thank you to the wonderful European Doctors Orchestra, the brilliant solo violinist, Jack Liebeck, the fabulous audience at a full house Cadogan Hall, all the organisers and volunteers who helped before, during and after the concert, our current Chair of Trustees, Maria Ahern, for her inspiring words at the start and everyone who contributed to the amazing success of this uplifting afternoon. An especial mention and enormous thanks to our Trustee and former Chair, Margaret Brearley, who worked tirelessly to make the idea of this wonderful afternoon a fabulous reality.
We don't have the final tally for funds raised yet but early sources suggest it could be over £18,000 for the The Compassionate Friends - which will go directly to benefit bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents. We are so immensely grateful.
Thank you hugely everyone for your support.
