This hand painted beautiful silk scarf, featuring the TCF rose, has been designed to commemorate 50 years of The Compassionate Friends (TCF).

Each scarf is individually dyed and hand painted by the artist, Ruth Lear*, to order, therefore the background colour of soft blue/aqua may vary slightly.

Your beautiful scarf is a unique gift or keepsake. It can be hand washed in warm mild soapy water. Cool rinse, then wrap in a dry towel to take off the excess water.

Allow to dry naturally and iron on REVERSE. Please allow 28 days for delivery.

Available in two sizes:

35 cm x 130 cm
25 cm x 150 cm

Each scarf is just £40, plus postage and packing of £2.00 (signed for second class).

All proceeds from sales go to The Compassionate Friends.

*About the artist

Ruth Lear is an artist & silk painter; her work is strongly influenced by nature, animals & flowers. She lives in a small, rural village on the outskirts of Macclesfield, in Cheshire. She paints mainly on the dining room table, with the company of a sleepy tabby cat, more often than not! ( He thinks he’s the supervisor).

Living in such a beautiful area & having a passion for gardens provides Ruth with inspiration and ideas for all her designs.

Ruth commented..."I am really honoured to be asked by The Compassionate Friends to create these silk scarves to commemorate this wonderful charity's Jubilee year. I hope you enjoy wearing your unique, hand painted scarf. It’s ‘wearable art!’"
